It was excellent! I had the shrimp scampi Alfredo in my husband had this seared tuna tacos. Scrumptious! Brenden was our waiter and she was awesome. I wish I could give six stars. We ordered the banana pudding to go because we were stuffed. Great place for any size of group!

Flounder’s hits the mark for a laid-back meal with a view. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon, and the atmosphere was relaxed but lively, perfect for unwinding without the weekend rush. The weather was finally gorgeous after several days of clouds and occasional rain, which made the outdoor seating and waterfront views even more enjoyable. The fish tacos were crispy, flavorful, and well-balanced, while the ribeye steak was grilled perfectly. Tender with solid seasoning. Shoutout to Trish, our server—she was upbeat, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth and fun. Even with a steady flow of guests, service was quick and friendly.

I’ve been to Pensacola 3 times and will be going back soon. This restaurant is always a must! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. The last thing I had were the shrimp tacos, and they were incredible! The slaw was flavorful and spicy, just the way I like it, and so filling. The virgin piña colada is also one of my favorites—so refreshing! The view is amazing as well. I highly recommend this place, 200%!

Service was great. Complimentary bread and butter was great. Sushi and tuna poke bowl were both good. Shrimp and grits was very good. The pasta was ok. Once salt and pepper was added it was better. This was the least favorite item. The huge key lime pie was very good.

Wow what a great place to enjoy some fresh seafood. The service from Ky was excellent - knowledgeable, courteous & prompt. Servings were huge. The togo key lime pie was half of an 8” pie as 1 serving. Everything were delicious, including the butter rolls. The gift shop next door was a bonus. We ate outdoor with a serene view of the bay. Afterward we walked the boat dock then visit all the nearby shops. It’s very popular so parking can be a challenge, but they have additional parking across the street. 2 thumbs up for Flounder’s. BTW get there early. The seafood chowder was very unique but huge. The bowl was like an 8” platter.

This is my family's go to restaurant everytime we visit Pensacola. First of all it has a beautiful view of the beach on the sound side. Has a volleyball area and also offers live music. This is a very entertaining place. Now the best part is the food. My family's favorite appetizer is the Calamari. It is big enough serving for the price and yet tastes so good. There are a lot to choose from when it comes to the main course but my favorite is the Fried Flounder. My daughter favorite is their Chicken Alfredo pasta and for everybody's satisfaction we always finished with an order of their key lime pie which is by the way comes in 3 layers. Very satisfying. What ever food you'll get, you will probably be happy. I highly recommend this place.

**Date Visited:** August 12, 2025 **Server:** Nick Atmosphere & Ambience We sat outside at Flounder's, soaking in the breezy, laid-back beach vibe. Nautical decor, casual energy, and plenty of sunshine made it a perfect spot to unwind and refuel. Service Nick was a solid server—friendly, attentive, and mostly on top of things. He kept the pace smooth without hovering, which made for a relaxed lunch. Food & Drink We split the fried shrimp plate, and it didn’t disappoint: hot, crisp, and satisfying without a trace of grease. I also had a piña colada that was absolutely massive—festive, tropical, and unapologetically bold. The key lime pie stole the show. It came in three distinct layers—yellow, green, and yellow again—like a citrus parfait. Rich, tangy, and way too much to finish in one sitting. We took two layers back to the hotel and didn’t let them go to waste. Value Generous portions and beachside flair without the tourist-trap markup. Solid value for a coastal lunch. Overall Impression Flounder's Chowder House delivered a memorable midday meal. Between the shrimp, the pie, and the piña colada, it was a flavorful break with just the right amount of indulgence. Definitely worth a stop if you're cruising through Pensacola Beach.
